The SCA Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) for Cuppers Course is a two-day, hands-on training designed for experienced coffee cuppers and sensory professionals. Participants learn how to apply the Specialty Coffee Association's new Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) system through practical cuppings, sensory calibration, lectures, and interactive discussions. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to confidently use the CVA's descriptive, affective, and extrinsic assessment tools to evaluate and communicate coffee value with greater accuracy and consistency.
Cost : 780 euros incl. taxes (SCA fees also included)
Hours : 9h00-18h00 each day
An hour lunch break is included, however, lunch is not provided.
Course duration : 16 hours
Prerequisites: This course is intended for experienced coffee professionals with prior cupping and sensory analysis experience. Participants should already be comfortable with standard cupping protocols and coffee evaluation. Completion of the SCA Sensory Skills Intermediate course (or equivalent experience) is strongly recommended.
